In order to ensure the health and safety of the Seal Beach community and waterways, street sweeping enforcement will resume. Mendoza said the RCSD is expected to sign an agreement in December that will provide services for street sweeping services for 2022 in Rossmoor. In observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays, there will be no trash collection on Monday, Dec, 25 and Monday, Jan. 1. Its safe to park only if youve seen a parking ticket officer citing un-moved cars followed by the street sweeper (if youve never seen one it is the heavy truck with big brushes and large vacuum tubes). Certain grocery chains are open while the majority will be closed for the holiday. The City contracts with Republic Services to provide trash, recycling, and green waste collection for all City residents and commercial businesses.
